Striking basalt hill above the former mining settlement Mariánská (north, part of Jáchymov) and the defunct village Popov (south, Pfaffengrün). At the summit, a wooden cross once stood, of which only the pole remains today. You can also see the typical columnar jointing of basalt in hints here. However, the main reason for a trip here is the beautiful aerial and nearly circular view. You can find a tip for an excursion to Popovská hora in the EXCURSIONS section.
