The Royal Mint Museum preserves and exhibits objects and documents that commemorate the natural, cultural, material, and spiritual wealth of the town of Jáchymov, whose mining cultural landscape has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019. The diverse range of exhibitions summarizes the rich history of mining and spa activities associated with the town and its inhabitants. You will learn about the period of the greatest boom in coin minting. The ongoing exhibition in the mint is dedicated to the field of numismatics. The museum has been housed in the Renaissance building of the former mint in Jáchymov, featuring its characteristic tower bay, since 1964.
