Mount Ressl

Areál Ressl offers its visitors a pleasantly spent day in nature, in close proximity to the city. This natural area is intended for relaxation, entertainment, and sports. In 2023, the Ressl hill area underwent significant revitalization, during which two new educational trails with new markings for better orientation in the terrain were established. Families with children can now embark on an educational walk of 1.2 km or 2.5 km. Both trails have several informational boards along the way, providing many interesting facts about life in the forest and also stops where you will complete fun tasks.

Mount Ressl

Welcome to the educational trail of Ressl Hill, prepared for you by the Statutory City of Most in cooperation with the Regional Museum in Most. Through this trail, we would like to briefly acquaint you with the local flora and fauna, and in conclusion, with the history of mining and reclamation on areas functionally related to this locality. The entire route of the educational trail, which measures nearly 3 km, begins at this spot, crosses Ressl Hill, and ends at the gardens at the end of Okrajová Street, where, after the conclusion of the reclamation cycle, the construction of the Slatinice Educational and Recreational Park is planned.
