Mědník is a 910-meter high hill in the Ore Mountains, under its southern slope lies the former mining village of Měděnec. The hill is located in the Chomutov district in the Ústí nad Labem region. The history of the town of Měděnec has been associated for almost 1000 years with the mining of mainly iron and silver-bearing copper ore in the surrounding area as well as directly on Mědník itself.
Chapel of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary
A small sacral structure dating back to 1672. It is a protected baroque building designed by František Julius, characterized by a circular layout and a conical roof.
