The rocky hill Bořeň (539 m above sea level) is one of the most significant locations in the Bílina region. It is located south of the town Bíliny in the national nature reserve. It is the most frequent tourist destination in the area and is also a sought-after spot for climbers. Tourists can only reach the top of Bořeň on foot. The starting point is the tourist lodge Bořeň, where a nature trail begins. Approximate coordinates of the starting (and ending) point are 50.5297,13.7589. It is a circular route around Bořeň with an ascent to the summit. The route is challenging due to its 340 m elevation gain, even though the total length of the trail is not particularly striking at 3.5 km. Along the green tourist trail, you will encounter 12 stops with informational panels.
