The Pajndl lookout tower offers one of the most beautiful views of the surrounding area. You can gaze not only over the Ore Mountains, where you will see the highest mountain, Klínovec, but also enjoy a stunning view of the foothills basin, the Doupov Mountains, Slavkov Forest, Karlovy Vary, and other places. The lookout tower is made of stone, and you can reach the observation gallery via a spiral staircase with 111 steps. The total height of the tower from the threshold to the tip of the lightning rod is 24 meters. The lookout tower is accessible year-round.
The lookout tower on Tisovský hill - Pajndl was completed in 1897 by the Nejdecká krušnohorská jednota society on a granite rock, whose blocks were used for its construction. In 1908, a restaurant was added, whose premises were expanded in 1923, but the restaurant ceased to exist after World War II. In 1987, the reconstruction of the lookout tower was completed. The reconstruction of the railings took place in 2021. In 1993, it was declared a cultural monument.
