Educational Trail Jáchymovské peklo

The organization Političtí vězni.cz focuses on researching the political oppression of the communist regime in Czechoslovakia. Its members document the testimonies of former political prisoners and their families, as well as related stories. In addition to several publications, documentary films, and educational programs, the organization has managed to restore the Naučná stezka Jáchymovské peklo or initiate the preservation of Řetízkárna. One of the organization's latest activities includes guided walks along the educational trail around Jáchymov. A team of trained guides offers explanations in Czech, German, and English throughout the year for the general public, schools, and corporate groups.

The short and long circuits are suitable for pedestrians, while the medium circuit is suitable for the immobile and visitors with their own transportation. It is possible to add entrance tickets to the mining open-air museum Štola č. 1, the Museum of Royal Minting in Jáchymov, or the chapel of St. Florian in Ostrov nad Ohří, as well as a snack package or a hot lunch.
