The structure stands on the site of a former lookout tower that was destroyed during World War II. The current steel lookout tower with wooden elements measures 30 meters and has an observation dome in the shape of an onion. It was built according to the design of architect Marcela Plachá. It offers views of the Krušné hory, Slavkovský les, or Karlovarsko.
