Mountain Farm Abertamy

Even though a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then, the legend doesn't die. And herds of sheep, cows, and goats simply belong to the mountains. At least according to Ing. Petr Zacharda, who established Horský statek Abertamy here in 1994. Step by step, he built a farm based on respect for the local nature and the animals raised, operating under the so-called organic farming regime.

When you visit Abertamy today, we have prepared an offer of fresh meat and honest farmer's sausages directly at our butcher shop for you. And also a wide range of organic cheeses from cow's, sheep's, and goat's milk, which we produce for you in our own cheese dairy. The recipe for the famous Abertamy cheese has not yet been discovered, but we immensely enjoy inventing and testing our own ideas. The fact that we do our work not only with enthusiasm but hopefully well is evidenced by your commendable reactions and various awards we have collected over the years (which we highly value).
