The guesthouse U Johanky is located in the historic center of the royal town of Kadaň on Jana Švermy street 17 near the Gothic tower of Mikulovická Gate, also known as Svatá. The intricate house from the 16th century with a beautiful cellar and many interesting layouts has gone through a tumultuous history, still emanating from the stones laid in the walls by the masters of the time.
New owners and operators, the Dufek couple, carried out a comprehensive technological and stylistic refresh in collaboration with renowned designers, artists, and craftsmen to better meet the needs of a discerning clientele that appreciates the genius loci. Attention was paid to the smallest details, from the use of authentic materials and craftsmanship to furnishing with original restored historical furniture. However, it is not a "museum." Everything is sensitively harmonized with modern elements and technologies that provide the desired comfort.
Accommodation is provided in eleven rooms or apartments with a varying number of bedrooms, with a total capacity of 32 beds.
