Chata Helena is located in the mountain town of Nové Hamry, where you can find the cleanest air in the entire Ore Mountains. It is therefore an ideal place for relaxation and recharging your energy.
The cottage is located 350 meters from the TJ Nové Hamry ski lift. From the top station of the lift, it is possible to ski directly to the cottage. This place is truly created for ski lovers and winter fun. We especially recommend it to families with young children and beginners. More demanding skiers will be satisfied with the nearby Plešivec Ski Area or the Neklid Ski Area at Boží Dar, which is connected to Klínovec. The smaller Potůčky resort, which has perfect night skiing (less than 10 minutes by car from the cottage), is also popular.
In the summer months, this place offers great conditions for hiking, cycling, mountain tours, and mushroom picking. Right behind the cottage, there are plenty of mushrooms growing. Dozens of cycling routes will satisfy all cyclists. It is also possible to use the cycling bus and be taken to Boží Dar, and the way back is all downhill, which will please those who don't like pedaling :-)
There is also a train station in the village, and a train trip will especially delight small children, taking you as far as Zwickau.
