Welcome to Abertamy, where we have prepared pleasant accommodation in newly renovated apartments in a residential building near the central square.

Abertamy is a mountain town with a history dating back to the 16th century, when it was founded by miners extracting silver. It is located at an altitude of 840 - 1000 meters above sea level, in close proximity to the Plešivec ski resort and near the ski resorts Klínovec, Boží Dar, and Oberwiesenthal.

The town has been undergoing a new wave of development in recent years focused mainly on tourism. A beautiful square with a newly renovated town hall building and an information center has been built, the Glove Making Exhibition and Abertamy Museum have been opened, educational trails in the surrounding area have been marked, and much more. The town has several grocery and drug stores, a health food store, a confectionery, a wine bar, and several restaurants.

For downhill skiing enthusiasts, modern ski centers are available in the immediate vicinity of the town. For cross-country skiers, dozens of kilometers of cross-country trails through interesting locations in the region are groomed annually.

In other seasons, Abertamy are frequently visited by cyclists, but also by families with children and seniors who find peace and relaxation, walks, but also variously challenging hiking trails through beautiful forests full of mushrooms and blueberries. There is also the opportunity to see something of the mining history, which is visible at every turn in this region (Kryštof adit, Mauricius mine, adits in Jáchymov, etc.).
