Literally a few steps from our apartment are ski slopes for skiers of all levels of difficulty (from complete beginners to experienced and demanding skiers). There is a very good black and red downhill slope, which is primarily intended for sports skiing. The area is also ideal for beginners and family vacations with children, as it offers, among other things, less demanding ski lifts (a free children's lift) and always well-groomed slopes. The slopes and lifts are connected in a way that makes it easy to move between individual slopes and try out all the options of the ski area. Evening skiing and a snow park with a U-ramp designed for snowboarders are, of course, available. Beginners can take advantage of the ski school services. The ski area is connected by a ski bus to the neighboring German town of Oberwiesenthal, with the option to ski on a joint pass at Fichtelberg. Cross-country skiers will find regularly groomed trails in the immediate vicinity.

In summer, the surrounding area offers many cycling and hiking trails, a steam train ride, a bobsleigh track, and visits to nearby aquaparks.

A modernly furnished apartment with an area of 33m2, designed as a 1+KK layout, suitable for 2-4 people, is located on the 3rd floor of the building. The apartment includes a parking space on a reserved parking lot by the house. In the living room, there is a large separated sleeping nook with a bed width of 210cm (where parents sometimes place a small child between them), a fold-out sofa of 180x140cm, plenty of wardrobe space, WIFI internet connection, Smart TV, DVD player, and an audio system. The apartment has a kitchenette with a dining table. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, a refrigerator, a glass-ceramic stove, a microwave oven, and an electric kettle. In the hallway, there is a shoe cabinet and a large coat rack. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, a shower corner, a sink, and a bathroom cabinet. Guests have access to a private cellar that is lockable and serves as storage space for ski equipment or bicycles. For each stay, bed linen, towels, and dishcloths are prepared.
