The phenomenon of postcards

How did postcards originate? The story of the 150-year history of postcards will be presented by the collector from Chomutov, Zdeněk Franc. You will learn about the origin, spread, production, and collecting of postcards. After the lecture, you will have the opportunity to view the exhibition "Under the Wings of Thalia" for free.

This is about a private collector of historical postcards, especially from the Chomutov region. In the first part, he will talk generally about the history and significance of postcards, and in the second, he will present the most interesting pieces. The lecture will be complemented by a projection onto a screen.
