Karel Svoboda - Theme for a Novel

A concert that commemorates the life and work of Karel Svoboda. The evening will feature popular, musical, and film melodies by the master in unconventional arrangements, both instrumental and a cappella renditions. The sensitive interpretation of the master's work was taken care of by his long-time colleague, student, and court arranger Jiří Škorpík (4TET) and an orchestra of soloists in his original staging.

Alternate performers include: Karolina Otevřelová, Vendula Příhodová, Gabriela Vermelho, Markéta Amerighi, Lukáš Janota, Ladislav Korbel, Dušan Kollár, and others. The concert is hosted by actor and presenter Dalibor Gondík.
