From the Insect Life

An allegorical theatrical play has been a classic on Czech theater stages for nearly a century. This timeless comedic drama by the Čapek brothers, in three acts, describes human traits (mostly negative), demonstrated through characters from the insect class. All scenes of the play are connected by a certain Wanderer, a human protagonist, who initially gets upset that people are offended by being called "human," despite being nothing else. He then decides to treat them like insects, which sets the perspective for the rest of the performance.
