The Masopust festival is inseparably associated with good food, drink, and fun! You can find all of this, of course, at Mírové náměstí in Kadaň. Every year, Švejk guides you throughout the day, along with music bands playing for listening and dancing. Enjoy something delicious to eat and wash it down with beer, wine, or slivovitz. There's something for everyone at the stalls scattered throughout the square. Of course, we shouldn't forget the masquerade parade linked to the condemnation and then drowning of Morana. If you want to fully enjoy this traditional celebration, make sure to come in costume!
