4th Advent Concert

Czech Christmas music and poetry from the Jistebnický Kancionál to the present. The first soloist of the National Theatre Opera, Kateřina Jalovcová, and Kateřina Holánová will present, among others, majestic songs from the Jistebnický Kancionál, tender baroque compositions by V. A. Michna of Otradovice, K. Holan Rovenský, and playful classical pastorals by J. J. Ryba, J. Michalička, and J. I. Link. Famous carols in the arrangements of J. Malát and J. Krček will also be included. In the interpretation of Karel Vlček, excerpts from the works of Jan of Holešov, B. Briedel, K. J. Erben, J. Neruda, K. Toman, J. Seifert, and J. Skácel will be heard. Piano by Lucie Pirochová, introductory word by Miroslav Král. Come on December 21, 2025, at 5 PM to the 4th Advent concert at the Franciscan monastery.
