Destination agency inspiring – Paths of Love in Kraslice

The destination agency Krušnohoří, in addition to many other activities, also collaborates with the project Paths of Love at the Czech Tourist Club (www.stezkyzlasky.cz). On a specific announced date, a group of volunteers gathers from all over the country on Friday evening, and then on Saturday they clean and improve some of the 44 thousand kilometers of Czech tourist trails. They do not get paid, but accommodation, breakfast, and lunch are covered by the project sponsored by Kofola and Regiojet. On the eve of the work, there is also always an introduction to the location, perhaps in the form of a lecture by local patriots.

This exactly took place in Kraslice, where a group of enthusiasts gathered last weekend at the invitation of the destination agency. On Friday, there was a lecture by the chairman of the Society of Friends of the Town of Kraslice, and then on Saturday there was plenty of work. The result is a cleared several-kilometer section of the Path through the Czech Republic, which follows the yellow tourist trail from Kraslice to Sněžná. In Sněžná, the memorial to the victims of World War I was also repaired, and the chapel was freed from overgrowing greenery. The tourist shelter of the destination agency in Sněžná received a new coat of paint on the porch, and the meadow around it was mowed. The cherry on top was the renewal of the tourist markings between Kraslice and Sněžná. Safe travels!
